Western Division Meeting—Thursday, October 6, Lakes Country Service Cooperative, Fergus Falls

President, Michael Finnegan, called the meeting to order. We had a record 11 in attendance. We held our meeting at Lakes Country Service Cooperative following our Regional Networking Meeting.

We discussed how smoothly, quick and easy the process of joining online goes. In fact, one person joined while on their laptop during this meeting.

Kathi Salvevold told the new members, and reminded the current ones, that the website is looking for the members to use it as a place for new ideas and an exchange of information, job openings, requests for books and materials, etc.

We discussed the Fall Conference in Rochester and there were a few, in attendance, who were planning to make the trip.

President Mike held a discussion regarding the thoughts on having the Fall Conference in the same location each year as opposed to rotating it throughout the Divisions in State. We were open to the idea of having it in a central location every other year and on the off years continue the rotation.

Election was held and Angela Hartman will be our President-Elect. Mike Finnegan will stay on as President and Kathi Salvevold remains Treasurer.
